A book that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.

USA TODAY Bestselling Author
RaeAnne Thayne

Blackberry Summer-

“Thayne’s series starter introduces the Colorado town of Hope’s Crossing in what can best be described as a cozy romance. … (A) gentle, easy read.”
– Publishers’ Weekly

Stole that from her site because I can't say it better than that.

I find that, sometimes you just need a little break from all the vamps, shifters, lords, ladies, and well...sex... A little time for some "sweet home Alabama" as I just described this book to my friend who sits here with me in line for dance recital tix like one of those crazy moms who get kicked off the bleachers at a game.

This book is my first from this author and also my very first that I received as an ARC.  So it feels kinda special :)

So since I have none of her other works to compare this to, a situation I will soon rectify, I will only say that this book settled the crazy and I hope her other books do as well.  Because no one knows better than a mom with a bunch of kids how much of the crazy is to be had, and how nice it is to have some of it swept away by a good book, and not added to it like some of the other serials you read that have you jumping at the shadows as you tiptoe to bed after everyone is sleeping. Or have you wishing that your husband would finally buy you that Louisville Slugger you asked for at Christmas.  Not that it's ever happened to me.  Really ;)

So pick up this book if you're having one of "those" days, have a glass of wine, and kick the kids out of the house, and maybe even the husband.

Congrats to you RaeAnne and thanks for the opportunity.
